### L'international belge arrive libre, en Premier League, en provenance de Lille. 

Faute d'accord entre les deux parties, Thomas Meunier, dont le contrat arrivait à expiration dans le nord, va s'engager, libre, avec Sunderland. On peut parler de transfert "gagnant-gagnant" pour le joueur de 34 ans (35, le 12 septembre) et le 10ème de Premier League. 

C'est la première expérience en Premier League pour l'international belge, passé notamment par le Club Bruges, le PSG, Dortmund, et Trbzonspor, avant de rejoindre Lille, en 2024\. Thomas Meunier s'est engagé avec Sunderland pour les deux prochaines saisons.
